Target is a general merchandise retailer with stores in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. The Floreo Labs team worked with Target’s Vice President of Marketing Technology, Director of Talent Acquisition and their senior engineering management team to design an accelerated engineering training program for their Emerging Engineering Program.
Based in Minneapolis, Target was finding it challenging to source diverse talent from the St. Paul, Minneapolis area who were qualified for their entry level internship programs. We designed a customized accelerator program that prepared local community members interested in working at Target with the necessary software development skills and project based experience to land entry level roles at the company. The program we developed and implemented culminated with a 94% placement rate.
